The Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC), reconstituted in April 2023 under the IBCC Act (Act XIII of 2023), serves as the national coordinating body for secondary and higher secondary education in Pakistan. Functioning under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFE&PT), IBCC is committed to ensuring standardized academic evaluation, examination policies, and assessment frameworks across all examination boards in the country. Initially established in 1972 as the Inter Boards Committee of Chairmen, the Commission has evolved into a dynamic institution that not only authenticates and grants equivalencies for local and international qualifications but also modernizes examination systems through innovative assessment methodologies.
